After a 30-year hiatus from natural dyeing, Ilsa rediscovered her love of dyeing with plants in 2005. Because she now knows you can get wonderful colors from even the most annoying weeds, she has made peace with all manner of invasive species.
Ilsa is part owner of Currents Gallery in McMinnville, Oregon where she exhibits her fiber art and occasionally teaches classes.
